A clear mistranslation or misinterpretation and misrepresentation is located at Q. 22:40, which was designed for the fraudulent purpose to hide the true sense and meanings of the words of God. Quran 22:40 is given as follows:
Traditional translation: Sahih International[Quran 22: 40] : “Those who have been evicted from their homes without right – only because they say, “Our Lord is Allah.” And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might”.
The real translation: [Quran 22:40]
Those who were evicted from their home without justice – only because they said, “Our Lord is God”. And if it were not for God defending some people by means of others – pious communities would have been destroyed and trade and commitments and places of submission/suju’d (masajid) where the name of God is remembered much. And God will surely support those who support HIM. Surely, God is Powerful and Exalted in Might”.
In order to hide the word solawa’t ( صَلَوَٰتٌۭ ), the traditional translations hid the word according to their manmade hadith and tafsir.
So, they translated solawa’t ( صَلَوَٰتٌۭ ) as a Jewish place of worship called Synagogue that in Arabic means kanis ‘aw majmae yahudiun — كنيس أو مجمع يهودي .
The word sowamun (صَوَٰمِعُ ) means pious communities, which traditionally is translated as monasteries that in Arabic means al’adira ( الأديرة ).
The word بِيَعٌۭ means trade, which traditionally is translated as churches that in Arabic means alkanayis ( الكنائس ).
